Orlando Pita is known as one of the most accomplished hairdressers in the industry. Over 30 plus years, he has created iconic runway looks for the world’s top fashion designers, and his work has graced the covers and pages of Italian, French, and American Vogue, Allure, and W. The company’s mission is to make runway quality hair products accessible to the masses by offering product lines distributed through major retail channels, including Ulta and Costco.
I was asked to help evolve the brand, expand the product line, and kickstart the company’s e-commerce initiative. The latter included overseeing the design and development on the e-commerce website, building out the company’s e-commerce team, and working with different departments to develop processes spanning packaging, fulfillment, and customer service to ensure the best user experience possible. The result was a broad and compelling e-commerce platform to help the company compete in the quickly evolving omnichannel retail landscape.
